| Object's Name: Bowl Pared Period: Fatimid Material: Frit Site: Caesarea Height: 11.8 cm Diameter: 13.5 cm Description: Bowl made of frit with short splayed base, slightly concave walls and
a stepped rim. The bowl is decorated with knife-created concave ribs
and a dotted row above. The bowl is coated with turquise alkaline
glazing. Drippings appear on the base. Such bowls are associatrd with
Syria during the Ayyubid period. The bowl is probably dated between
the second half of the 11th century and the beginning of the 12th
