Description: The yellowish wrapper is rectangular with rounded corners, made of two different textiles: the main cloth made in diamond twill technique, the lining is tabby weave. It is decorated with red embroidery which is very rare in the Roman world. Probably was used as a container for scrolls or documents It was discovered in the Northern Palace.
