| Object's Name: Bowl Ball-Shaped Period: Crusader Material: Pottery Site: Tiberias and Hammat, Thermae Height: 18.5 cm Diameter: 20.5 cm Description: A round bowl with a plain round rim, made of orange clay with brown
grits. White slip under bright yellow glaze extends to the exterior
of
the rim. The decoration was created using the gouging technique and
consists of a central bird encircled by patterns of knots and scrolls
in free style. The bowl belongs to the so-called Byzantine and Agean
Wares, which were wideldly distributed in regions under the control
