Diameter: 2.7 cm
Description: Glass weight made of pale yellow glass with a central inscription on
the obverse and traces of a barely legible inscription on the back,
which can be identified based upon a similar glass weight. On the
obverse there is an inscription of three lines with another
inscription encircling it. It reads as follows: al-Imam al-Hakim
b'amri Allah Amir al-Mu'minin, wali' a'hduhu (al-Imam al-Hakim'
Commander of the faithful' defender of his faith). Encircling: Bism
Allah, la ilah illa Allah wahduhu...la sharika lahu (In the name of
God there is no God but God himself he has no equal).
Al-Imam al-Hakim was a Fatimid Khalif who rules during the years
AH 386-411/996-1021 CE
