| Object's Name: Tall Small Jar Period: Fatimid Material: Glass Site: Caesarea Height: 31.5 cm Diameter: 14.8 cm Description: Tall jar made of greenish glass. The jar has a rounded body and
shoulders and a small neck with outfolded rim. The jar was produced
by free blowing and the signs of turning the vessel during the
blowing process are seen on the surface of the glass.
The glass is thick, rich in bubbles. Such jars are known since the
10th century. They are recognized upon the rfragments of its base,
