Description: Jar made of thick greenish glass. The Jar is characterized by a
concave base with a large pontil scar. The body is slightly covex
The shoulders are round and it has a short uneven splayed rim.The
glass is thick full of impurities. Traces of its turning
during the free-blowing process can be seen on the surface of the
glass. This intact jar is one of the two complete jars of its type,
found at Caesarea. It is 43 cmc high with a capacity of 19 liters.
